Posting on TES: 4E is done in an open, narrative format. Instead of creating individual threads, all posts are made directly in the proper setting board. A character's last post in an area should indicate which place the character is going to. Conversely, when a character enters a new area, the first post should say where they have come from. Please note that skipping areas without the use of magical transportation is not allowed. Even if you travel by carriage, horse or Stilt Strider, you must post through the appropriate threads. (I.e. Don't go directly from Anvil to the Imperial City without posting the journey through Cyrodiil.)

>>>Ascadian Isles
The Nerevarine stepped over the bridge into Vivec city, leaving the fresh clean air of the Isles behind. Back in Vvardenfell's greatest city, he was immediately surrounded by the sound of a thousand voices and the smell of the water that ran around the cantons. As he began to walk along the water a messenger ran up to him and handed over a message. Reading it, the Nerevarine realized he was needed in Balmora. Feeling annoyed that he had only just gotten to Vivec, and now had to turn around, the Nerevarine left the city the way he had come.

If he had taken the Stilt Strider, Lord Indoril might have cut time off his journey, but there was something to be said for traveling the road on his own two feet. It helped to take the edge off his annoyance as he walked briskly along the road to Balmora from Vivec. The journey took a few days, but by the end of it, the Nerevarine was glad, rather than annoyed, to see the sprawling Hlaluu city again.
